Warner Bros. TV Group’s president & chief marketing officer Lisa Gregorian to exit

LR: Karen Miller & Lisa Gregorian

Warner Bros. Television Group’s president & chief marketing officer Lisa Gregorian has become the latest senior exec to depart amid the major restructuring at WarnerMedia.

Gregorian will be leaving the studio at the end of the year, when much of her remit – including marketing – will be taken up by Karen Miller, currently EVP of creative services. She will report into Channing Dungey, the former Netflix exec who is to become chairman of Warner Bros. Television Group next year after replacing Peter Roth.

Gregorian has been with Warner Bros for more than 30 years and in her most recent role for a decade, overseeing the studio’s global TV marketing unit, including creative services, distribution marketing, social, brand integrations and publicity.

Her exit comes as AT&T-owned WarnerMedia looks to shed thousands of jobs as it restructures its operations, with reports suggesting that costs are being cut by as much as 20%.

Last week, longstanding Warner Bros. UK, Ireland and Spain president & MD Josh Berger revealed he would be leaving, joining other senior departures including distribution chief Jeffrey Schlesinger, WarnerMedia Entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt and former TNT, TBS, and truth chief Kevin Reilly.

Like Berger, Gregorian began her association with Warner Bros. when she joined Lorimar Telepictures in 1986, which was later acquired by Warner Bros. She held a raft of roles prior to heading up global marketing in 2010.

Ann Sarnoff, chair & CEO at WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, said that Gregorian had “shared that she feels this is the right time for her to leave Warner Bros.”

Sarnoff added: “I thank her for her dedication and contributions to the company and wish her the very best in what I know will be an exciting next chapter.”
