VIS and ‘Falco’ prodco Dynamo ink co-pro deal

Falco

ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) has entered into a co-production agreement with Latin American Falco prodco Dynamo Producciones.

The two company’s first co-production will be an action-thriller series, due to commence filming in Mexico this summer, and expected to be ready for distribution before the end of the year.

VIS and Dynamo will also start discussing potential projects to begin development in 2021.

The Colombia-based Dynamo, which maintains a presence in Bogotá, Madrid, Mexico and New York, gained international attention for its work on the Netflix series Narcos and also produced Falco for Amazon Prime Video and Wild District for Netflix.

Federico Cuervo, SVP and head of VIS, said, “This deal with Dynamo is a testament to our commitment at VIS to form strategic partnerships with industry leaders in order to create and offer the best content for viewers on all platforms. Dynamo has built a strong reputation within the industry for creating quality and creative productions and we are sure this partnership will unite the synergies between both companies.”
